Shrimp boil

I love Low Country Boil with shrimp, kielbasa sausage, potatoes, spicy Italian sausage, corn on the cob… so this shrimp recipe was a close enough replacement since I didn’t have all the ingredients for LCB.

1 kilo shrimp, rinsed
2 limes, quartered
4 cloves garlic
4 bay leaves
1 tsp black peppercorns
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
6 whole cloves
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp thyme

Serve with:
3 Tbsp melted butter + 1 clove garlic, crushed
lime wedges

Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil. Add lime, garlic and seasonings and let boil ten minutes. Add shrimp and return to boil. Cook three minutes, then drain and serve.
