Iced coffee dakarois

31 May

Ingredients

When you need a pick-me-up on a hot afternoon… voilà.

2 Tbsp Nescafé granules
2 Tbsp milk powder
1 Tbsp cocoa
1-2 tsp sugar (to taste)

Mix ingredients in a glass. Add a 3 Tbsp water and stir until smooth. Add another 1 1/2 cups of water and stir until mixed in. Add lots of ice and serve.

Optional add-ins: chocolate shavings or a couple drops of almond extract

Mmm.... cold.

I guess some of us just need bigger pick-me-ups. I make iced coffee by the jugful when the weather is really hot! I brew a full pot of strong coffee and poor it in a glass jug with a full can of sweetened condensed milk. Chill, add ice and voila!

I seriously cannot spell today. I actually “pour” it into a jug!
